Cape Flattery

This was an awesome way to end my first day on the Pacific Northwest coast. Cape Flattery is the most northwestern point in the continental United States and made one epic place to watch the sun set.

A short walk downhill through the rainforest brought me to what felt like the edge of the world.

There were many places to look out off of a cliff to the nearby cliffs. I was able to also see Vancouver Island in the distance. There were lots of other visitors on the night I visited and I was a little late to the game. I eventually settled on a small opening on the west side of the peninsula to watch the sunset over the Pacific.
