The Fells are the closest extended woods north of Boston. Just off of 93, they offer a wealth of trails that can be more strenuous than you might expect. I did this hike with my partner and a couple of friends. We parked roadside since the South Boarder parking was full. We took a route that covers some ground then climbs a hill to provide a cool vista of the city of Boston. It was a nice way to get outside the city and feel a little taste of the woods.
