Nepaug State Forest Backpack

Friday August 30, 2019 to Sunday September 1, 2019

I returned to some of my favorite woods in northwest Connecticut for a two night backpack for labor day weekend. My buddy and his two dogs were my companions to start this hike and we picked up another friend and his dog along the way. The CT woods are surprisingly lush and wild. The Indian Caves Council was a cool area to explore and we enjoyed an awesome view of Lake McDonnough.
