Observed WildlifeProbably the best day hike in the White Mountains, this is the complete package. My brother and I had a blast here. The ascent followed multiple gorgeous falls on Falling Waters Trail. We had to work to reach Little Haystack and Franconia Ridge, but the views were the absolute best once we were there. On our right the Pemigewasset Wilderness extended, along with it's countless peaks. To our left Franconia Notch sat before the Kinsman Range. The ridge continues for almost two miles and culminates on Mount Lafayette. We stopped multiple times to soak it in. On the way down, were were treated with an awesome look back at the ridge from Old Bridle Path
